Works 2020-present

2020–2023: A shift toward stillness, sensitivity, and care

After the birth of her son, Tereza Sklovská’s creative pace naturally changed. She stepped away from the public sphere and focused on quieter, more intentional forms of expression. Instead of large-scale projects, she turned her attention to precision, meaning, and authenticity.

She returned to painting on glass, watercolor, ink, and traditional materials—blending them with a contemporary sensibility. Her focus moved toward silence within color, the softness of layered washes, and the expressive potential of line. Alongside analog work, she began drawing digitally—still by hand, with no filters or effects. What mattered was the tactile relationship between pigment and surface.

For her, art is a way to maintain inner balance. Any longer pause becomes a physical tension—one that must be released through making.

2024–2025: Working with the fracture, returning to essence, building continuity

Her current work is quieter—but more grounded. The motif of the fracture, present for years in her practice, has evolved into a conscious visual language. It is no ornament; it is a map of experience—personal and universal. It appears in her paintings, tattoo designs, and writings.

She is now focused on concentrated work—ink, watercolor, oil, and a dialogue between traditional techniques and her personal language. In parallel, she is developing an online platform reflecting her world—visually, poetically, and intellectually. She is preparing two parallel platforms, HeroHero and Patreon, to share slow, meditative videos combining painting, storytelling, literature, and visual history.

Tereza Sklovská deliberately steps away from the pressures of visibility and performance. She follows her own rhythm, with quiet consistency.

And the work continues.
