Return Home

There are bonds that cannot be broken.

Even when paths lead elsewhere, love remains –

a quiet knowing that one day, the soul will always find its way back home…

There are people who find each other,

and yet cannot be together.

They belong to one another,

but their journeys take them apart.

And so love becomes a strange kind of gift –

not presence, but present awareness.

To love so deeply is not weakness.

It is a strength that carries a person even in solitude.

It is peace and storm, authenticity and labor,

a home that exists in the heart, even if not in daily life.

We never know what life may bring.

And when such a bond exists,

the soul will always find its way back home.

And it is the gratitude –

for being able to feel such love at all –

that makes it extraordinary.

Because few could ever bear

the weight of a love

that cannot be possessed – only given.
